About this Franken Zorg
Our dedicated approach
My name is Maaike Franken and I have been a general practitioner since 2018. I studied Medicine in Leiden and completed my GP training at LUMC in the same city.
From 2021 to 2024, I lived and worked as a GP in Waikanae, New Zealand. Now I live in The Hague with my partner and two children.
I have long had the ambition to become a practice owner. I am now fulfilling that ambition with this new practice. For me, general practitioner care is more than just treating complaints.
I believe it is important to get to know people and guide them through different phases of their lives.
During my work in New Zealand, I experienced first-hand how valuable a long-term GP-patient relationship can be. I am happy to bring that experience to my own practice.

Collaboration
During the startup phase of the practice, we are working together with Huisartsenpraktijk Kielman. Even after that, we will continue to collaborate in the new health center and remain each other's locum during holidays or other absences.
